Privacy policy

1. Who we are
PreHang("we", "us") provides an online tool to preview images on walls at scale. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact: privacy@prehang.com.
2. What we collect
- Account data — your email address and, if you set one, a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email and name from Google.
- Content you create — the images (artwork and wall photos) you upload, and the compositions you make with them.
- Billing data — if you subscribe, payments are handled by Stripe; we store only a customer reference and your plan, never your card details.
- Technical data — basic server logs (e.g. request times, errors) needed to run and secure the Service.
3. Why we use it
To provide the Service (store and render your content), to authenticate you, to process subscriptions, to keep the Service secure, and to comply with our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your uploaded images for anything other than operating the Service for you.
4. Sharing & processors
We use a small number of processors to run the Service — hosting/storage, and Stripe for payments, and Google for optional sign-in. They process data only on our instructions. If you publish a public gallery page, the works and details you choose to publish become publicly visible by design.
5. Retention
We keep your account and content while your account is active. When you delete content it is removed, and unused image files are reclaimed by routine cleanup. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data except where we must retain it (for example, billing records for tax purposes).
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact privacy@prehang.com to exercise these rights. You may also lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority (in the Netherlands, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
7. Cookies
We use only strictly necessary cookies — chiefly to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
8. Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of the Netherlands. See also our legal notice & terms.
